CATALONIA CONSTRUCTION 2020 AWARD FOR FUNCTIONAL REHABILITATION
The project of the Headquarters of Doctors Without Borders in Barcelona has been awarded the prize Catalonia Construction 2020 to the Functional Rehabilitation, in the XVII edition of the awards organized by the Association of Quantity Surveyors, Technical Architects and Building Engineers of Barcelona.
The jury valued in this action "the difficulty of converting an obsolete industrial building into a healthy and useful space, as well as the project exercise of opening the new patio of lights and the roof, to achieve the entry of natural light, ventilation and comfort necessary for the offices of the entity and to do so from a concept of austerity".
