The Sagrera station already has a winning project
The architectural competition for the Sagrera station already has a winning firm. The joint venture formed by Estudio de Vázquez with Ayesa IngenierÃa y Arquitectura and Pgi Engineering has obtained the highest score.
Fermín Vázquez's studio b720 Arquitectura, has been chosen by the committee of experts that has been evaluating for months the projects presented to take charge of the most important public building to be built in Barcelona in the coming years.
The jury appointed by Barcelona Sagrera Alta Velocidad has chosen the project unanimously over the other seven finalists.
The project, which will be presented in the next few days, includes both the architecture of the station and the urbanization of the surrounding area.
